Get Windows 8.1 for Free

Hi Folks!!

 Today i will be showing you how to get Windows 8.1 for free!!
Windows 8 is ok but not advisable, better you might start using Windows 7 again or you might be upgrading to Windows 8.1. Lets not waste our time talking about Windows 8 Disadvantages as most people know about it.

I always used Windows 7 as it was pretty good until recently i upgraded to Windows 8 where i was very disappointed due to its user Interface, no start Button(that was not a big issue) but it was slow too and used a lot of RAM. I even remember when my PC used to hang with some applications and when i used to press CTRL+ALT+DEL, the task manager never showed up and instead it showed up after a couple of minutes so i upgraded to Windows 8.1 and now it is completely fine.
Most of the people are not able to upgrade to Windows 8.1 from Windows 8 when they try to upgrade from the Windows Store stating that the Windows using Volume Licensing Key and Stuffs and the same had happened with me, so i decided to share with you how to overcome this problem and get upraded to Windows 8.1 for free.

For Existing Windows 8 users:
Open Command Prompt as Administrator and enter the Following :
slmgr.vbs /ipk V7C3N-3W6CM-PDKR2-KW8DQ-RJMRD

Hit Enter after you have done this 

Now after you have Hit enter you will get a message saying as "Installed Key"
Please note that this step we have done to get rid of the Volume Licensing error and you will have to Activate your Key again after you have upgraded to Windows 8.1.

Now Next step would be to clear the Windows Store Cache :
In order to do that go to Run and type the following::   wsreset

Now this step will clear all the Cache from the Windows Store.

Now go to this Link and Upgrade to Windows 8.1 and at the bottom of the Page there will be a Link Upgrade to Windows 8.1 for free which will redirect to the Windows Store and Then in Windows Store Click on Download and the Windows 8.1 will start downloading.

Please Note :
The Windows 8.1 is 2.7 GB in Size and so if you want to Downlaod probably you must have a faster Internet Connection but no worries you can also resume the in the Windows Store, it automatically resumes.

After the Download is being Finished it will take around 30 to 40 Minutes to Install Windows 8.1, your PC will automatically restart during the process.

Once you have installed Windows 8.1, you can Activate your Windows 8.1 from the File .

Important Highlight: If you have a low end PC , it would be advisable to use Windows 7 and with at least 1 gb RAM for Windows 8.1.
